CIHEAM Bari: Training course for start-ups in the rural and coastal development sectors
Overview

On 23 May 2022 will start a training course, foreseen by the Project "FOOD4HEALTH - Sustainability and innovation of agri-food and fishery sectors to facilitate SMEs' access to the cross-border market", addressed to 10 young people aged between 18 and 35 years presenting a business idea in one of the following sectors: agri-food, diversification of activities in the agricultural and fishery sectors, tourism, cultural and creative activities, social innovation, circular economy, waste disposal.

The course, financed by the Interreg Italy Albania Montenegro 2014-2020 programme, is organised by CIHEAM Bari and is aimed at improving young people's skills on several issues relevant to the development of innovative enterprises, such as: business conception, validation and launch, start-up organisation and management, business model strengthening, go-to-market, sales and marketing strategies.

The programme includes an intensive training course of 40 hours, led by national and international experts. Its structure includes lessons in presence, which will be held in Tricase (LE), and online lessons, as well as a section of practical work in teams. In addition, a mentor will accompany the development of business ideas.

The deadline for submitting an application to take part in the course is 14 May 2022, as described in the announcement (available only in Italian language ). The 10 participants in the course will be selected by a competent committee. At the end of the course, they will receive a certificate of participation.
